Vivo X300 and X300 Pro Go Global with OriginOS: A Big Step Beyond Funtouch

Vivo’s latest flagship phones, the X300 and X300 Pro, are finally going global just two weeks after launching in China. The company confirmed that both models will now be available in several European countries, including Spain, Italy, Poland, Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

What makes this international launch more exciting is the debut of OriginOS outside China. Until now, Vivo’s international phones ran on Funtouch OS, an older Android skin that many users found dull and bloated. OriginOS, on the other hand, is cleaner, more colorful, and packed with smarter customization options.

A Fresh Experience with OriginOS 6.0

OriginOS first appeared in China in 2020 and is now in version 6.0. The latest version introduces a more customizable lock screen with depth effects and handy widgets. It also features a sleek new design called Dynamic Glow, giving the interface a premium, fluid look. For Vivo fans outside China, this update finally brings the software experience up to par with its hardware.

Flagship Hardware and Camera Power

Both the X300 and X300 Pro come with silicon-carbon batteries, rated at 6,040mAh and 6,510mAh respectively. While these capacities are slightly smaller than what rivals like Oppo and Xiaomi offer, Vivo is focusing on efficiency and longevity.

Photography remains a major highlight. The X300 Pro features a 200MP telephoto camera, compatible with the 2.35x Zeiss telephoto extender introduced earlier this year with the X200 Ultra. Both models are expected to deliver some of the best mobile photography results available today.

Price and Availability

In Europe, the Vivo X300 starts at €1,049 (around $1,200) and the X300 Pro at €1,399 (around $1,600). While the pricing positions them firmly in the premium range, the improved software experience and cutting-edge camera system could make them strong contenders against brands like Samsung and Xiaomi.
