Vaaree raises Rs 65 Crore in funding from Hero Enterprise, Cap Alpha to expand AI home styling

Bengaluru-based home décor and furnishings marketplace Vaaree has raised Rs 65 crore in a Series A funding round led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures.

The startup plans to use the funding to expand its fulfilment network, reduce delivery times and develop its AI-powered product discovery and home-styling technology, including its VibeCheck platform.

VibeCheck allows users to discover products based on their preferences, create mood boards, visualise combinations and shop coordinated looks.

Vaaree also plans to expand its fulfilment and quality-verification centres across key markets. The startup said bringing inventory closer to customers will support faster deliveries as it works towards offering next-day delivery in major Indian cities.

“Most people know how they want their home to feel, but translating that into the right products is difficult,” co-founder Varun Vohra said.

“With VibeCheck, we want to give every Indian access to a personal home stylist, one that understands their taste, helps them visualise complete spaces and makes every recommendation instantly shoppable,” he said.

Founded in 2022 by Garima Luthra, Pranav Arora and Varun Vohra, Vaaree operates a curated marketplace covering home décor, furnishings, bed and bath products, kitchenware and lighting.

Its platform offers more than 150,000 products.

Vaaree’s existing investors include Peak XV’s Surge, PeerCapital, All In Capital, Better Capital, OTP Ventures and Kunal Shah.
