TOKYO: Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki said on Friday it is important that discussions will be aligned with international law when asked about a US proposal for using the interest derived from frozen Russian assets to aid Ukraine. “Japan plans to join the discussions at the upcoming Group of Seven meeting from this basic standpoint,” Suzuki said.
