Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF) North East under Operation Hadin Kai have arrested two suspected logistics suppliers to Boko Haram terrorists in Yobe State. The suspects were apprehended at about 12:00 p.m. on February 15, 2026 during a snap checkpoint operation conducted by troops of the 233 Tank Battalion deployed at Rabangida in the DapchiGeidam general area. The suspects were identified as Goni Abba, 30, and Ali Bukar, 30, both indigenes of Areyanari village in Yunusari Local Government Area of Yobe. Items recovered from them included N33,150 in cash, one Android phone, and a blue tricycle with registration number TMW-426WB loaded with assorted foodstuffs and household supplies suspected to be intended for insurgents. Other items recovered were bags of sugar, flour and rice, cartons of beverages, soaps, detergents, spaghetti, macaroni, cooking oil, sweets, matches and other consumables. Troops further combed the surrounding area after the arrest but made no additional arrests or contact. The suspects and recovered exhibits are currently in military custody for profiling and further investigation. The military high command said operations would continue across the theatre to disrupt insurgents logistics networks and deny them freedom of action. The post Troops arrest two suspected Boko Haram logistics suppliers in Yobe appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
