Trey Miguel immediately returns to TNA following AEW release

Trey Miguel was surprisingly released by AEW earlier this week, just days after the promotion announced the arrival of The Rascalz. Miguel said he was taking a break from pro wrestling and later apologized for past “mistakes,” as more details emerged about why AEW released him.

Earlier today, Fightful Select reported that TNA was already in talks for Trey to return. That’s exactly what happened on tonight’s (Jan. 22) episode of Thursday Night Impact on AMC when he showed up as a surprise wrestler in the Feast or Fired match. The commentary team announced that he is officially re-signed with TNA.

Miguel actually walked away with one of the four briefcases in the match, which means there’s a chance he will be fired by TNA when the contents of the briefcases are revealed on next week’s episode on AMC.
