“Part of the ground floor was damaged by the fire. A person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“The Brigade was called at 1156 and the incident was over for firefighters at 1301.

“The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.”
