Golden Eaglets Class 2024

5.EDWARD OCHIGBO

A lively, hard working central midfielder from Sporting Lagos. He is great at combination play.

4.ABDULMUIZ ADELEKE

Tall centre-forward from Central Academy Abuja. He has power and speed to make life difficult for defences. He is a type of striker who attracts defenders and that allows his teammates space to cause damage. The Golden Eaglets will rely on him for goals in this competition.

3.IBRAHIM DAMILARE ABDULGANIYU

Skillful left winger, who loves to take on defenders. He has good technique, close ball control and dribbling skills. He will flourish in the team’s 4-4-2 formation. He is armed with good shots. He is sourced from Hero Power Academy.

2.SYLVESTER CHIKA

Usually tall for a fullback, he is fast, aggressive and exciting rightback, who enjoys bombing down the flanks to deliver dangerous square plays. He is from Meic Academy.

1.SIMON CLETUS

Golden Eaglets skipper from Mavlon FC. Attacking midfielder, who featured at last year’s U17 AFCON in Algeria. Intelligent, all-action midfielder, whose form will go a long way to determine how far this class of Golden Eaglets will soar in Ghana and beyond. He scores and creates goals.
