Tiktoker, Peller Publicly Clashes With Police Officers For Driving a Car With no Plate Number

Popular TikTok creator Peller was involved in a tense encounter with police officers in Lagos on Thursday evening after he was stopped for allegedly driving a vehicle without a registration number plate.

The incident comes after the Inspector-General of Police directed officers nationwide to enforce the law against motorists driving vehicles without number plates or with covered registration plates.

According to Peller, the vehicle was recently purchased and had not yet been registered, which is why it was still without an official number plate.

However, the situation reportedly escalated when Peller began recording the interaction with his phone. He claimed the officers became aggressive, alleging that one of them grabbed his shirt and pointed a gun at him during the confrontation
