“They crucify the ones in there congregation who fornicate” Merit Gold calls out Christians for hypocrisy in celebrating Davido’s wedding

Merit Gold Eberechi, a famous actress, has sparked conflicting reactions after criticizing Christians for celebrating Davido’s wedding despite his past out-of-wedlock babies.

She took to Instagram to call out certain Christians’ hypocrisy.

It will be recalled that Davido and his wife Chioma welcomed a son, Ifeanyi, in 2019 but lost him in 2022.

Months following the loss of their child, they had welcomed a set of twins, much to the jubilations of both the parents and fans.

The two held their wedding in Lagos, attracting significant media attention.

Actress Merit Gold Eberechi opined that Christians were rejoicing over the wedding, even though they had welcomed three kids before it.

She noted that the same Christians are the ones who wouldn’t hesitate to criticize that one individual in their congregation for fornicating.
