THE SKULL AND BONES (AN ILLUMINATI) & DR WILLIAM HUNTINGTON RUSSELL (PICTURED)

Professor Wole Soyinka and 6 others formed the Pirates Confraternity in Nigeria (the National Association of Seadogs) at the University of Ibadan in 1952.  

In the same manner, Dr William Russell along with others including Alphonso Taft and 12 others formed the Skull and Bones at the Yale University, USA in 1832. Dr William Russell studied Medicine and Surgery at the Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. 

Other prominent founders were Dr Phineas Timothy Miller (an American physician) and George Ingersoll Wood (an American clergyman).

The Skull and Bones is also known as The Order or Order 322 or The Brotherhood of Death. It is an undergraduate senior secret student society at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, USA.

The society is known informally as "Bones," and members are known as "Bonesmen," "Members of The Order" or "Initiated to The Order."

Only males are admitted into the secret society.

It is one of the "Big Three" societies at Yale University, the other two are Scroll and Key and Wolf's Head.

All members become prominent in society.

Skull and Bones selects new members among students every spring as part of Yale University's "Tap Day", and has done so since 1879.

Members of the Skull and Bones do not follow the same time as you and I. Members measure time of day according to a clock 5 minutes out of sync with normal time, the latter is called "barbarian time."

Well known members are President George W Bush, John Kerry (2004 US Presidential candidate), Frederick Wallace Smith (founder of FedEx) and Austan Goolsbee (staff director to and chief economist of President Barack Obama's Economic Recovery Advisory Board).
