“The Power Of The Word Is Understanding The Word” — Didi-Omah Augustine Chinazaekpere

The power of the Word is understanding the Word. To study the Word needs two virtues, one the grace of God. Two, your discipline. You have to be disciplined to spend time daily to study God's Word, and God will give you the grace to understand what you are studying. The devil is not afraid of you reading the Bible, he is much afraid of you understanding the Word. 

Because when you understand the Bible, it is the understanding that gives you power to remain empowered over the devil. Executive, I end struggling when I discovered that prayer is a key and not the key to everything. The key to everything is knowledge. The Word of God emphasize more on knowledge than prayers. Do you know that righteousness hold power not prayer? To see God's glory you must walk with God in obedience and by faith — and that's from knowledge of the Word.

Most people read the Scriptures everyday and don't understand it, they will come out and be teaching another. From John 3 vs. 16, many ministers can teach different things. I would have followed the wrong doctrines by some ministers — thanks to God for His mercy and grace. Executive, I keep praying for the Holy Spirit to speak to me clearly and direct me. Because even the tonguing ministries can lead you astray by their doctrines. It is the information you access that design your beliefs and future.

Jesus Christ have done everything for us, exept our prayers. We must pray for ourselves and others, Jesus Christ told us in the book of John (of the Gospel). But not shouting at our God for help, we lost it in Africa totally. You want your earthly father to help you, you ask humbly with understanding of his status. Now, you want your heavenly father to help you, you start shouting and roaring! We missed it! Jesus Christ have won all battles, we have to walk in the victory of Jesus Christ and the Word. It is by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimonies — we overcome the devil.

So while fighting an already won battle, when we should help people and change lives through the power of God's Word. I am not a pastor, I do not oversee any ministry, I am very happy that God is using me to change lives and spread the true knowledge and love. If I attend a church, and the church is fighting a battle that I don't know about it, I will just be thanking God through His Word — than to follow them to fight what I don't know.

Executive, because it is a church does not necessarily mean they are doing the right thing even the Holy Scriptures taught us to search the Scriptures and examine activities in line with the knowledge of the truth. So, I am not a Bible scholar, I am a businessman and a non-denominational Christian. I study the Bible, I pray, I fellowship with the Christians. So what? We must take responsibility or we travail in vain. To end unnecessary struggles and wasted efforts, always walk in alignment with the Holy Scriptures!
