Princess Anthonia Ikeriehi, a brilliant Nigerian law graduate, has made remarkable academic strides by earning a first-class honors degree in Law from the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN), Nigeria. Her exceptional achievement not only earned her a first-class degree but also the honor of being named the best-graduating student in the Faculty of Law.

Academic Excellence and Leadership

Princess Ikeriehi’s academic journey was marked by a clear goal: to graduate with the highest honor. From her first day at UNIBEN in 2018, she declared her ambition to achieve a first-class degree. Her dedication and perseverance ultimately led her to fulfill this goal. “First Class or nothing!” she boldly proclaimed upon resuming at the Faculty of Law.

However, Princess was not just focused on her academic excellence. She believed in the importance of a well-rounded university experience, excelling both inside and outside the classroom. She was actively involved in moot and mock trials and rose to become a principal partner in her student law chamber. Her leadership qualities also shone through when she was appointed as a judge at the High Court of the Student Union Government of UNIBEN.

Entrepreneurship and Balancing Multiple Roles

Outside of academics and student leadership, Princess ventured into entrepreneurship, running her own logistics business, Flash Logistics. She juggled this alongside her academic commitments and various extracurricular roles, often questioning how she would manage to balance everything. Despite doubts from others and the inevitable challenges, Princess stayed focused on her goal.

Reflecting on her experience, she shared on LinkedIn, “Through this process, many thoughts were running through my mind. Was I spreading myself too thin? Will I achieve my grand goal in school? I had naysayers who felt I could not get my desired grade, as much as I had those who believed in my capabilities.”

Her unwavering dedication, despite these challenges, paid off. Princess not only graduated with a first-class degree but also emerged as the seventh student in the Faculty of Law at UNIBEN to achieve such a distinction.

Overcoming Challenges with Perseverance

The road to her success was not easy. Princess recounts nights of hard work, sleepless nights, and even tears. Her story is one of grit, determination, and an unwavering belief in the power of hard work. She credits much of her success to divine grace, reflecting on the vital role of her faith in her academic journey. “I put in the work – so much work – days of sleepless nights, tears, and God came through! No shortcuts, no excuses – just pure dedication and divine grace,” she said.

Princess also extended her gratitude to her mentor, Prof. Michael Attah, whom she credited for believing in her and providing invaluable guidance throughout her journey.

Continuing Her Legal Journey

Beyond her academic accomplishments, Princess has continued to distinguish herself in the legal field. She completed an internship at the prestigious law firm Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, where she explored new interests, particularly in the area of Fintech. Her time at the firm provided her with invaluable experience and mentorship, further solidifying her passion for law.

She concluded her LinkedIn post with a resounding message of success and determination, stating, “Ikeriehi Princess, Best Graduating Student, Faculty of Law, 2022/2023 Law Class! I DID THAT! I made it happen, and I am just getting started!”

Princess Anthonia Ikeriehi’s story is one of resilience, dedication, and exceptional academic and personal achievement. As she embarks on the next chapter of her legal career, she serves as an inspiration to young professionals everywhere, proving that with hard work, passion, and faith, anything is possible.

In an exceptional academic feat, Zahra Motomori Fahm, a 20-year-old Nigerian lady, has achieved what many would consider extraordinary. She graduated from the University of Buckingham, England, with both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree on the same day, an accomplishment that underscores her dedication, intellect, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Zahra’s academic journey is as inspiring as it is impressive. At the age of 19, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Determined to push the boundaries even further, she immediately commenced her Master’s program at the same university, pursuing a degree in Strategic Marketing and Customer Experience Management. By the age of 20, she had successfully completed both degrees.

Reflecting on her achievement, Zahra expressed her pride and excitement in a LinkedIn post, acknowledging the challenges she faced along the way. “Honestly, having two ceremonies in one day was almost as tough as doing two degrees in three years,” she wrote, describing her unique experience. She further shared that graduating with both degrees only a month after her 21st birthday made the journey feel like a dream come true.

Zahra’s LinkedIn post resonated with many, not just because of the magnitude of her academic accomplishments, but also because of the humility and self-awareness she displayed. She admitted that while she’s not typically one to share such achievements publicly, this milestone was an exception, and she rightfully deserved to celebrate it.
