In January, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the end of the line for the vehicles that launched the brand. The Model S and Model X were about to set off into the sunset and Elon said that they were going to get "an honorable discharge." Now the details have leaked about the two special editions that bring the run to a close, and it feels more like the two are getting a tiny pension and a cheap gold watch – along with a very large price tag.
