Suit of the Week: Ralph Lauren Collection

As we all know, I’m a fan of the festive blazer — but if you’d prefer a festive suit instead, this red velvet one from Ralph Lauren Collection looks gorgeous.

I love the classic cut to the blazer, and of course I love a bootcut pant. (These are described as “stretchy velvet pants,” which sounds good to me.) I even kind of like the satin halter top it’s styled with, although I do wish it had sleeves — but huzzah, there is a button-front blouse made of the same fabric.

The blazer is $2690, and the pants are $1,490, both at Neiman Marcus.

(Zomg I didn’t see this green corduroy suit from Akris when we rounded up great cords for work yesterday! I’d probably wear them as separates, though, to avoid looking too much like a leprechaun, but that’s me.)
