Suit of the Week: Banana Republic Factory

For busy working women, the suit is often the easiest outfit to throw on in the morning. In general, this feature is not about interview suits for women, which should be as classic and basic as you get — instead, this feature is about the slightly different suit that is fashionable, yet professional. Banana Republic Factory's line of “sculpted” suiting has been one of the reader favorites over the past few years that it's been around — so it's always exciting when they come out in new colors. I'm thrilled to see this beautiful burgundy!

I'd wear this with your basic neutrals (whites, creams, grays, blacks, dark blues) — but I'd also play with more unusual color combos, like a pale blue blouse, or even orange, lavender, or pink.

In addition to the wide leg trousers pictured, they also have straight pants and bootcut pants. There are a zillion blouses, sweaters, and accessories all offered in the same color, as well. Most pieces are available in sizes 0-20 and 00P-18P.
