John Owan Enoh, the Minister of State for Trade, Industry and Investment has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a bold and courageous leader.

This statement was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of ARISE NEWS on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

He made the statement while speaking about the fuel subsidy that was removed by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In the video that surfaced online, he said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu did what former President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan could not do.

He said he heard that the decision to remove the fuel subsidy was not part of the speech that was written by the speech writers of the President.

John Enoh said a leader must be able to take decisions that are capable of moving the nation forward.

“When President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took that decision, i heard from the speech writers that the decision was not even in the speech that was prepared for him.

“That is what leadership is about. He knew what he wanted to do. He was sure about it and he went ahead and he did it.
