Splurge Monday’s Workwear Report: Fadridi Rib & Pleated Midi Dress

I always struggle with sweater dresses for work. Some are too clingy, some are too casual, and many are too warm, but this one from Boss looks just right. The swingy, pleated skirt and bold blue color would make it a bright spot on a cold, gray day. Add a blazer and tights for some extra warmth and you’ll be good to go. 

The dress is $499 at Nordstrom and comes in sizes XS-XXL. It also comes in black, navy, and (on sale) slate blue.

Two more affordable options are from Julie Jordan (rust, olive, and black, $129, XS-XXL) and Eloquii (black, $66.99, lucky sizes 16-28), both at Nordstrom. One more lower-priced alternative: This Brooks Brothers dress is $258 and available in dark purple and navy.
