Some PDP Governors love Tinubu at night but during the day they say different things - Wike

Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has accused several governors within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of playing both sides in their dealings with President Bola Tinubu.  According to Wike, these governors express support for the president in private while publicly taking a different stance.'Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, made these remarks during the PDPs state congress held at the partys Secretariat in Port Harcourt on Saturday, August 31. He criticized the behavior of some PDP governors, stating, "They love the president at night but say a different thing during the day." During the event, Wike also addressed his controversial decision to oppose the PDP during the last presidential election. He explained that his actions were driven by what he perceived as the party's failure to uphold the principles of justice, fairness, and equity. He said;  I didnt hide it in 2023 when I said PDP I would not support you for presidential election, I said I wont support PDP because it refused to allow equity, fairness, and justice. So, I have no regrets.When Buhari was there, you never saw me play two sides; I never went to the Villa at night only to come out in the day to shout. Some of them now love the president at night, but during the day, they say different things.Be a man of character, stand so that people will know that this is who you are. I hear some people saying we are supporting somebody else, why wont we support him?We defeated your own candidates, tell us who was your candidate in 2023? They all lost, they are not ashamed that what they didnt plant, they want to harvest.
