Sol Ruca, Wes Lee, Je’Von Evans advance to Iron Survivor Challenge matches

Qualifiers got underway on NXT television this week.

This week’s episode of NXT television saw the beginning of qualifying matches for the upcoming Iron Survivor Challenge matches scheduled for the Deadline premium live event on Sat., Dec. 7, 2024, at the Minneapolis Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

First, in what could be considered a surprise, Sol Ruca managed to outmaneuver the recently returned Cora Jade to score the pinfall victory to advance. She looked like she could finally be ready to take the next step.

Next, Cedric Alexander and Wes Lee went out and tore the house down with a super fun back-and-forth battle. Alexander looked like he had a real shot, but Lee used an undone turnbuckle to gain the edge and eventually score the pinfall.

Later, Je’Von Evans and Lexis King had one hell of a competitive match but it was the former who emerged victorious. After, the two shared a handshake and a hug.

That leaves just three slots in the men’s match and four in the women’s match.
