Singer Teni has reacted after she was bashed by social media users for prostrating before socialite IBD Bende.  On Friday evening, May 3, Teni shared a video of her screaming after spotting IBD Bende in the aircraft she boarded. She went ahead to prostrate before the socialite and then hugged him. Her video was greeted with criticisms from some Nigerians who argued that she allegedly failed to shake former President Muhammad Buhari when she was conferred a National honour last year but could prostrate before a socialite who has been accused of being a smuggler. Reacting to the criticisms, Teni in a post shared on her X handle disclosed that she met the socialite sometime in 2014 and that he was good to her even before she became a music star.
