Seth Rollins returns to Raw, gets title shot at Money in the Bank

This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Corpus Christi, Texas, the first show following the events of Clash at the Castle and just weeks away from Money in the Bank in Toronto, opened with a surprise.

Seth Rollins is back.

We haven’t seen the former world heavyweight champion since WrestleMania 40, where he did everything he could to put everyone else over before going away to go under the knife to fix up a knee issue. That included losing the world title to Drew McIntyre, who instantly lose it to a Money in the Bank contract cash-in by Damian Priest.

Speaking of which, he revealed he has returned because, well, he wants it back. And there’s an event coming up where he can earn himself a guaranteed shot at it anytime he wants.

That brought out Priest himself, who told Rollins he can skip the whole ladder match nonsense and they can just go ahead and have a match for the title at Money in the Bank. They agreed upon it, and there you go.
