Ruto Orders the Construction of 900 Police Stations

President William Ruto has ordered the construction of 900 Police stations across the country within the next two years to improve service delivery.

The Head of State made the announcement on Tuesday, December 2, during the Jukwaa la Usalama Report, State House, Nairobi.

He highlighted that some Police stations in the country are located far away.

“We have Police stations that have not been built. Other police stations are located far away from some locations, even when the chiefs have a function, trying to move people from one place to another, it is far. So we have agreed to build 700 police stations.”
