Rumors for the Day:

• PW Insider says that Jacob Fatu wasn’t even backstage at SmackDown this past week and that has led to growing concern that he’s dealing with a more significant injury.
• According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Brock Lesnar is “still not able to be used” by WWE. He could be a surprise by the Royal Rumble if things change but as of right now that “wouldn’t be able to happen.”
• They also say that when asked about SummerSlam 2025 being two nights, “the WWE response was only ‘stay tuned’” but that “another WWE source tabbed it as ‘almost definite’ next year would be two days.”
• WWE is thrilled with reactions to the Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan pairing, and they’ve received “high marks” for their chemistry on screen, says PW Insider.
• Fightful Select says AEW talent told them Tommy Billington, the Dynamite Kid, has signed with the company.
• The Observer says Jacob Henry, Mark Henry’s son, signed an NIL deal, which means “he’ll be paid by WWE while he goes to college.”
