Riyadh Launches Direct Flights to Atlanta, Expanding Saudi Arabia’s Global Air Connectivity

Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of a new direct air route between Riyadh and Atlanta, marking another milestone in the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen international air connectivity and expand travel options between Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The new service is scheduled to begin operations on October 23, 2026, supporting business travel, tourism, investment, and closer economic ties between the two countries.

Gateway to More Than 150 U.S. Destinations

The new route carries significant strategic value as Atlanta is home to one of the world’s busiest airports and serves as a major aviation hub in North America.

Passengers traveling from Riyadh will gain convenient access to more than 150 destinations across the United States, as well as nearly 200 destinations throughout North and South America through connecting flights.

This expanded connectivity will significantly improve travel flexibility and reduce transit times for international travelers.

Boosting Business and Tourism

The direct service is expected to support growing travel demand between Saudi Arabia and the United States by facilitating business trips, tourism, education, and family visits.

It also strengthens commercial relations by providing easier access for investors and companies operating across both markets.
