Report: Je’Von Evans avoided injury on Raw

There has been concern regarding the status of Je’Von Evans ever since his match on Monday Night Raw this week was stopped early due to an apparent injury. Evans’ match against El Grande Americano had been moving along seemingly without issue going into a commercial break. However, when the broadcast returned it was announced he would no longer be able to continue and he was taken to the back to be examined. He appeared to be favoring his arm/shoulder while walking back.

There is good news to report, however. Multiple outlets are now reporting Evans is okay and avoided injury. In fact, it wasn’t his shoulder at all but rather a concussion that was the chief concern.

He was examined and it was determined he is okay and, per PW Insider, he is well enough to continue on the trip with WWE to work the rest of the tour. The Wrestling Observer, however, said “he’s said to be fine and flying home.” Either way, it’s good news for the young star just ahead of Royal Rumble, one of the biggest shows of the year for the company.
