Redcliffe Labs, an omnichannel diagnostics provider, has announced the acquisition of Pune-based Megavision Diagnostics Center, as it expands beyond pathology into radiology and advanced imaging.

According to media reports, the transaction has been valued at about Rs 40 crore, although Redcliffe did not disclose the purchase price in its formal announcement.

Megavision operates two MRI-equipped centres in Pune’s Pimpri-Chinchwad area. Redcliffe said the centres will complement its existing pathology network and allow patients to access a broader range of diagnostic services through an integrated platform.

Megavision has operated in the region for more than two decades, building its business around diagnostic imaging. The company’s workforce will be retained following the acquisition, according to Redcliffe, which said this will help maintain continuity of patient care.

Kedar Prabhakar Bhate, founder and director of Megavision Diagnostics, will continue to lead the business and work with Redcliffe’s Clinical Board as the company expands its radiology services in Pune and surrounding areas.

Aditya Kandoi, founder and CEO of Redcliffe Labs, said integrating Megavision’s radiology expertise with Redcliffe’s pathology network will allow the the healthcare company to provide “a more seamless diagnostic experience”.

The acquisition is part of Redcliffe’s strategy to build a diagnostics network combining pathology and radiology, with the startup saying it plans to use partnerships and acquisitions to expand further across western India.

Redcliffe has previously used acquisitions to increase its imaging presence in Rajasthan. Its Medicentre business acquired Prime Sonography & Diagnostic Centre in Kota in February 2024, adding pathology and radiology services in the city.

In June 2026, Redcliffe also announced the acquisition of a diagnostic centre in Ajmer, which now operates as Redcliffe Medicentre Imaging & Labs. The facility offers services including MRI, CT scans, ultrasound and X-rays alongside Redcliffe’s pathology services.

Noida-based Redcliffe said it operates in more than 220 cities through more than 80 laboratories and offers over 3,600 diagnostic tests.
