This year, Ram has made a big deal about the return of the Hemi V8 in the 1500 pickup. It's technically slower, less efficient, and more expensive than the twin-turbo "Hurricane" straight-six, but it's also a type of engine truck buyers want. When the engine was dropped last year, sales declined, and when it returned, the company received plenty of early orders. As such, Ram is anticipating selling quite a few Hemi-equipped trucks, but it will be a while till they can meet full demand, as production is still ramping up.
