Primate Ayodele Warns Tinubu of Alleged US Plot, Claims Trump Seeking His Ouster

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a strong warning to President Bola Tinubu, alleging that United States President Donald Trump is plotting to have him removed from office.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that President Tinubu has been “caged” politically by the US, adding that Washington’s involvement in Nigeria’s fight against insecurity is driven by hidden motives.

According to Ayodele, the support being offered by the United States is not primarily aimed at ending insecurity but is allegedly designed to penetrate Nigeria’s government and weaken the president’s position.

“Trump is determined to remove President Tinubu. America will be among those who will stand against him,” the cleric said, insisting that the US president’s intentions go beyond what is publicly visible.

He further alleged that regardless of Nigeria’s efforts to tackle insecurity, the supposed agenda to unseat Tinubu remains unchanged. “Whether Nigeria defeats insecurity or not, Trump is focused on removing Tinubu from office. He knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to achieve it,” Ayodele claimed.

The INRI leader urged President Tinubu to act decisively and adopt what he described as bold political strategies to counter the alleged plot, warning that failure to do so could result in his political downfall.

“Tinubu must take very bold steps to overcome Trump’s plans. If he relaxes, he will be at the losing end, and his defeat will be celebrated,” Ayodele cautioned.

The claims have sparked public attention, though no official response has been issued by either the Nigerian presidency or the United States government as of the time of filing this report.
