Premier League: Wayne Rooney forecasts the champions, predicting, “They’ll edge it.”

Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney has made a prediction regarding the Premier League title race, favoring Liverpool to emerge as champions over Manchester City and Arsenal.

Rooney shared his thoughts following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Currently, Arsenal leads the Premier League table on goal difference, with Liverpool closely trailing in second place.

Meanwhile, Manchester City occupies third place, trailing Arsenal and Liverpool by just a single point.

“While there’s still a significant portion of the season remaining, and only seven games have passed, much can change between now and the season’s conclusion,” Rooney remarked in an interview with Premier League Productions.

“I maintain my belief that Liverpool will ultimately clinch the title.”
