Popular YouTuber Zepa Passes Away

Popular YouTuber Zepa has sadly passed away, leaving her fans and the online community in shock.

News of her death was announced through an official message shared on Instagram, which read:
“Please accept my apologies for this sudden message. Zepa has passed away unexpectedly.

“I would like to apologise on her behalf for bringing you this news. The funeral was held privately with family members only.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness and support you showed her during her lifetime.”

Zepa had built a strong following of approximately 600,000 subscribers, gaining popularity through her unique Jirai-kei fashion content and live-streamed drink taste tests.

The content creator, who was from Japan’s Kansai region, had initially aspired to become a hairdresser. However, she later changed direction on the advice of her mother and pursued a degree in law at university.

Her cause of death has not been made public. In the past, Zepa had openly shared her struggles, including challenges with alcohol and periods where she described herself as being in a low place.

Prior to her passing, she had also spoken candidly about personal family issues and the impact of online abuse.
