Popular Brazilian Influencer Junior Dutra Dies After Failed Botched Cosmetic Surgery

Popular influencer Junior Dutra has passed away following complications from a cosmetic surgery that reportedly went wrong.

According to reports, the influencer underwent a “cat eye” lift procedure in March 2025, hoping to enhance his facial appearance. However, shortly after the operation, he began to suffer severe infections and swelling around his eyes that worsened over time.

“As soon as I had the procedure, I felt like a vein had burst on the left side of my face.

“Everything was fine on the right side, but on the left side, I could feel the thread being pushed out.”

His friend, Gean Souza, also shared that Junior had been struggling with recurring infections and breathing problems, which eventually led to his death.

Gean said: “He had been having infectious reactions and feeling discomfort since the procedure.”

“Last Friday, the problem worsened.

“He felt very short of breath and was taken to the nearest emergency room at a public hospital, where he died shortly afterwards.”

It was reported that he passed away on October 3rd at a public hospital in São Paulo, Brazil.
