Plateau United receives appreciation from Wash for their support during his injury break

Bitrus Wash, a defender for Plateau United, has conveyed his gratitude towards the club for the assistance extended to him during his injury hiatus.

During the commencement of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season, Wash suffered a ruptured achilles tendon.

Now, the 30-year-old defender has resumed training with his fellow teammates in preparation for the upcoming season.

Wash has expressed his optimism about regaining full fitness before the start of the 2024-25 NPFL season.

Speaking to the club’s media, Wash stated, “I am grateful to the entire staff of Plateau United for taking care of me during my injury period.”

He added, “I am thankful for the recovery and do not wish any player to endure what I had gone through, as it was quite a painful experience.”

“Considering the gym workouts and recovery sessions, I believe I will be prepared for the approaching season,” Wash added.

Wash had clinched the NPFL title with Plateau United in the 2016-17 NPFL season.
