Penta is gone from the AEW roster

The reports and rumors about Penta El Zero Miedo’s departure from AEW appear to be true, as he has now been removed from the roster page of All Elite’s web site.

There were stories going back to June about Penta’s expiring AEW contract and WWE’s interest in signing him. Penta and his brother Rey Fenix have not wrestled in AEW since the month of July. In August, Penta tried to shut down rumors that they were both leaving AEW for WWE, but it didn’t work.

It was reported just last week that Penta’s AEW contract was done for good at the end of November. It is now a few days into December and he is gone from the roster page on AEW’s web site, so you can draw the obvious conclusion if you wish.

If Penta is indeed on his way to WWE, do you think the promotion will bring him in as a singles star for now, or wait until Rey’s contract is up next year so they can debut as a team? Give me your prediction in the comments below, Cagesiders.
