Osun Amotekun Arrests Four For Theft And Burglary

Operatives of Osun Amotekun Corps in Iwo Area Command on Wednesday apprehended four men- Isaac Oluwafemi, 23 years, Adeolu Ayuba, 19 years, Afeez Ismail, 23 years, and Sola Azeez, 19 years, all indigenes of Iwo Local Government.They were arrested for alleged theft, burglary and vandalism of government properties.According to the Osun Amotekun Corps, the suspects committed the act in the former Ola-Oluwa local government secretariat situated in Telemu, Osun State.The suspects were arrested after vandalising and stealing aluminium sheets, iron tables, and wheelchairs.The Osun Amotekun Corps Commander in Osun, Brigadier General Bashir Adewinmbi, confirming the arrest, revealed that luck ran out on them after the operatives of Amotekun received distress calls from residents of the area.Adewinmbi said the operatives swung into action immediately and arrested the culprits while escaping the scene with the stolen items.“Upon the investigation, the suspects confessed to perpetrating the act.“T
