Victor Osimhen will be aiming to become the first Galatasaray player to score in seven consecutive European matches when the Yellow and Reds take on Bodo/Glimt in a UEFA Champions League clash on Wednesday (today).

The Nigeria international shares the club record with Burak Yilmaz, who scored in six straight European fixtures in 2012.

Osimhen equaled the record after netting the decisive goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 win over Premier League champions Liverpool at RAMS Park last month.

The Turkish champions will host the Norwegian side in their matchday three fixture, with Osimhen expected to lead the attack.

The 26-year-old striker made a substitute appearance in Galatasaray’s 2-1 league win over Istanbul Basaksehir last weekend and has scored three goals in seven appearances across all competitions this season.
