Obaseki Started Paying N70k Without Negotiation, Why Can’t We Say That He Is A Better Gov -Sam Amadi

The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has praised the gov of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki for paying the sum of N70,000 as minimum wage in his state.

His statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Friday.

Sam Amadi was speaking about the issue of minimum wage in Nigeria when he made the statement.

In the post that he shared on his page, he said it took governors more than two months to propose N70,000 as minimum wage but Godwin Obaseki started paying the same amount without negotiation. He said why can’t people say the truth that the governor of Edo state is a better governor than most of the rest.
