TNA Wrestling Charlie Dempsey has crossed through the Prohibited Portal from NXT to TNA in recent weeks. This time, he brought the No Quarter Catch Crew to wrestle the Rascalz on Thursday night’s episode of Impact (July 18, 2024). It wasn’t the full Rascalz crew though. Charlie Dempsey has crossed through the Prohibited Portal from NXT to TNA in recent weeks. This time, he brought the No Quarter Catch Crew to wrestle the Rascalz on Thursday night’s episode of Impact (July 18, 2024).

It wasn’t the full Rascalz crew though. Kushida was their partner instead of Wes Lee (aka Dezmond Xavier). Kushida still gelled well as teammates with Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz for a triple dive to the outside.

Kushida and the Rascalz also executed a triple submission. The No Quarter Catch Crew muscled up with triple powerbombs to escape.

Unfortunately for the Rascalz, Kushida’s attention was diverted elsewhere. Jonathan Gresham entered the scene, and Kushida took the bait to chase the Octopus. That left Trey and Wentz outnumbered for the rest of the bout. The No Quarter Catch Crew worked a divide and conquer strategy. A German suplex from Dempsey dispatched Trey from the action. Dempsey’s squad went to work with suplexes on Wentz, and the captain sealed the deal with a bridging tiger suplex to win.

The feud between the Rascalz and the No Quarter Catch Crew isn’t over yet. Wes Lee actually made an appearance on the program in the fabled Treehouse. The Rascalz worked that smoking circle gimmick in the past as an homage to That ‘70s Show. They had a successful reunion earlier in the week defeating Gallus in NXT. Now, it was time to unite in TNA. Lee suggested a match against the No Quarter Catch Crew at Slammiversary.

TNA made the bout official for the PPV on July 20.

Part of the fun of trading talent between companies is new exposure. The No Quarter Catch Crew crushed it here. This was an impressive performance from Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, and Tavion Heights. Their catch wrestling skills and aggressive attitudes quickly won me over as a fan. They also showed great chemistry with the Rascalz and Kushida in a nifty clash of styles. The Slammiversary battle should be a dandy.
