NoOnes is improving interactions with its community and potential users with Konnect event

Cryptocurrency platform, NoOnes, recently held a meet and greet parley with members of its community, potential users, brand influencers and general crypto enthusiasts. Dubbed the NoOnes Konnect, the event, which took place in Lagos, was well-attended by people from various walks of life. It featured chats by NoOne’s representatives and social media influencers like Kira, Cross of Big Brother Naija fame, and sports journalist, Sulaiman Adebayo popularly known as Pooja.

In his welcome speech, NoOne’s Founder and CEO, Ray Youssef, in his speech welcomed the users, indicating he was unable to make the event in person. He reminded attendees of the essence of the platform and the very purpose for which it was created.

“NoOnes is a peer-to-peer marketplace, a universal wallet, a messenger with a lot more is coming soon including features and everything that you need to make money move around and to make you money. We are solving the biggest problem in the world; economic apartheid. Our inability to trade with each other. And it is my desire that we do so and solve it one trade at a time. That is the magic of all of this,” the CEO said.

He also said the platform will be introducing a lot of amazing innovations that would help users achieve their goals a lot faster and easier.

Introducing the event, a representative of the company who refused to be named due to the government clampdown on crypto leaders noted that the event is just a coming together, bringing in the people that are just coming into the crypto space, the enthusiasts, and everybody around NoOnes’s in Lagos. The plan is for them to just relax, unwind and share ideas, insights, and experiences so everybody can learn and grow together.

“The purpose of the event is just to connect with people because one of our missions is to educate the global south about Bitcoin, financial freedom, and elevate people from poverty and let them know that they could hold any asset they want,” he said.

Conversations at the event focused on a number of topics. Users asked questions surrounding use cases, learning how to use and make money on the app, learning how to avoid scammers, how the platform deals with potential fraudsters and many more. Attendees displayed a robust knowledge of the platform which indicates they have really engaged with and experienced with the platform.

Speaking about the driving factor behind fraud management, the company representative pointed out that where there is value, there are always people seeking to take undue advantage to profit at the expense of others.

“We see how much fraud is happening, not just here in Nigeria, but across the world so we do everything to ensure that our platform does not become a safe haven for criminals. We have gone beyond KYC (know your customer) as you see in regular systems, we now do KYB (know your business) and KYP (know your partner). We ensure that you know the partner, if you are a business working with us, we know you as a business, we know what you are doing and we have people recommending you. We are compliance-based and this is why we don’t joke with anything that looks like fraud or that looks sceptical,” the representative said.

They also said NoOnes has a tight compliance team comprising world-class experts that works on the evidence provided during the KYC and catches any falsehoods or misleading information given out.

Another major focus is the NoOne’s Training Academy which teaches new users how to trade and how to make money off the platform. The representative said through the academy, the platform leaders are telling their success stories and with them, teaching others how to come into this and learn how to change their own stories too to become better persons.

“The goal for us is to learn from this, earn from this, better your life with this, and better the lives of those around you. It said the program differs from a pyramid scheme in that it does not force anyone or make it a condition for them to bring people.

One of the attendees at the event, Emmanuel who has been using the NoOne’s platform since 2023 said aside from the safety and security of the platform, he is quite impressed with the new features that are always provided to make trading easier.
