Nnadozie nominated for PFA WSL fans’ Player of the Month award

Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the PFA Women’s Super League (WSL) Fans’ Player of the Month award for September.

The Nigeria international, who joined Brighton on a free transfer this summer after leaving French side Paris FC, has been one of the standout performers in the WSL this season.

Nnadozie, 24, has featured in all five league matches for the Seagulls so far, keeping two clean sheets and making 22 saves. Her performances have helped Brighton collect seven points from their opening five fixtures.

She is shortlisted alongside Aggie Beever-Jones (Chelsea), Melvine Malard (Manchester United), Alessia Russo (Arsenal), Bunny Shaw (Manchester City), and Cathinka Tandberg (Tottenham Hotspur).
