A young Nigerian woman has expressed her gratitude after finally becoming a provision store owner in the United Kingdom (UK) following months of unemployment.

She shared her story on TikTok via her handle @@debs5040, showcasing her new store and its stocked provisions. She recounted her struggles after relocating to the UK.

She explained that she left a successful business in Nigeria to move to the UK, only to face joblessness before opening her provision store.

She also revealed that she had paid her school fees in full before moving to the UK on a student visa. After completing her studies, she struggled to find a job, forcing her to use the money she earned in Nigeria to support herself until she could start her provision store.

She said, “I left a very very thriving business in Nigeria to come to the UK. School fees paid from Nigeria and came with enough money to sustain me. I didn’t want to do care jobs, so i kept applying for other jobs while changing Naira to pounds to take care of my bills.”

“After about 5 months of receiving “unfortunately” the frustration set in. Oh I crieddddd! Many times i wanted to go back home but my mum would keep discouraging me because i had dashed out almost all my stuff.”

“I questioned God and questioned myself why I left Nigeria permanently because i was already a frequent traveler to the UK for vacation.”

“To cut the long story short, God came through for me and here I am again doing what i know how to do best. “Business”. I pray God comes through for everyone.”
