National and Extra-County Senior Schools Offering Computer Studies, General Science, and Media Technology

217 Senior Schools nationwide are approved to offer the Computer Studies, General Science, and Media Technology subject combination for Grade 10 learners under the Curriculum-Based Education (CBE) framework, according to an updated list by the Ministry of Education.

These subjects fall under the Technical Studies track within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) pathway, one of the three major pathways introduced for Senior School placement beginning in 2024.

Under the new CBE structure, learners transition into one of three broad pathways based on their aptitude, talents, and career interests: STEM (Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, and Technical Studies), Social Sciences (Languages & Literature, and Humanities & Business Studies), and Arts & Sports Science (Arts and Sports).

Within the STEM pathway, the Technical Studies track offers specialised, skills-based subjects. Among these is a key subject cluster combining Computer Studies, General Science, and Media Technology, designed for learners with an interest in digital literacy, scientific inquiry, and media-related technologies.

217 schools nationwide have been approved to offer this subject combination.
