Mustang Driver Floors It Then Everything Goes Sideways At Ford Car Show

A car show with lots of Mustangs is a breeding ground for trouble and it appears one pony decided to break loose. This almost had tragic results as the vehicle came close to hitting a bystander.

Details are limited, but the crash reportedly happened last weekend during Stillwell Ford’s car show in Hillsdale, Michigan. As we can see in the video shared on YouTube, a silver Mustang floors it on the street that appears to be located in front of the dealership.

The car has a jerky launch and the driver inexplicably goes to the left. They then massively overcorrect and send the Mustang into a spin, which comes dangerously close to a couple of bystanders.

Following the near miss, the Mustang slides past a classic Chevrolet Camaro and demolishes a sign. It then goes into the ditch, before rolling over. The car eventually flips back onto its wheels as a handful of good Samaritans rush to provide assistance.

There’s no word on the condition of the driver, but the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office received a couple of complaints that may have been related to the event. One involved a reckless driver, while another resulted in a traffic stop.

Unfortunately, Mustangs and crashes go together like cars and coffee. We’ve reported on a number of similar incidents over the years including one driver who lost control in 2019 after leaving an event. They decided to floor it, but quickly lost control and entered the median before flipping.
