Mother cries out for justice as her 2-year-old daughter returned home dead from a school in Lagos

A devastating Nigerian mother has cried out for justice after her 2-year-old daughter, Pinky Ella, returned home dead from Smiley School, Sangotedo, Lagos.

The distraught woman took to her X handle @AbiaPrincess_X as she shared photos of her late daughter and the school, detailing how she lost her child due to the school’s negligence.

According to her, the little girl was hale and hearty when she went to school on Wednesday, January 15. Tragically, she never made it back home alive.

The mother revealed that Smiley School initially claimed that her daughter drowned in the school pool. However, upon further investigation, she discovered the heartbreaking truth that her 2-year-old child had actually died of electrocution.

She sought justice from the Lagos State Government to investigate her daughter’s death and close down the school with immediate effect. She revealed that the school lied to the other parents that the school closed down because of maintenance.
