Mob burns suspected motorcycle thief to d3ath in Makurdi

A suspected motorcycle thief was lynched and set ablaze by an angry mob in Makurdi, Benue State.  The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday, September 2, 2025 around Railway Quarters.  According to eyewitnesses, the suspect allegedly attempted to snatch a commercial motorcycle from its owner.  The victims alarm drew the attention of residents, who pursued and apprehended the suspect. The mob descended on the suspect, beat him to pulp and later set him on fire.  As of the time of filing this report, security agencies had not issued an official statement regarding the incident.  The post Mob burns suspected motorcycle thief to d3ath in Makurdi appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
