The Mazda Iconic SP concept is reportedly on its way to production, but evidently not very quickly. Speaking to Automotive News, company CEO Masahiro Moro said that the slinky sports car is a priority for the company and that it's making its step-by-step march toward production. Although his statement was vague on timing (probably deliberately), the news is still good for everyone pining for a late follow-up to the RX-7 or a faster, more sophisticated sibling to the cheerful MX-5 Miata.
