A Nigerian man has shared his frustration after a dispatch rider, whom he regularly tips for delivering his online orders from Temu, repeatedly called him to request a ₦100,000 loan.

The experience was detailed in a post by the user @sledge_baba on X (formerly Twitter).

He explained that months ago, he ordered a product from Temu, and when the dispatch rider delivered it, he tipped him ₦3,000.

Since then, he has placed several more orders, all delivered by the same rider, to whom he has continued to give tips sporadically.

Unexpectedly, the rider called him multiple times last week, asking to borrow ₦100,000.

He said, “I ordered stuff from Temu in March and the rider that came to deliver asked me for a tip, so I tipped him 3k. Since then, I’ve ordered like 5 times and he’s always the one delivering, and I’d just tip him randomly.”

“Guess who called me like 10 times last week to borrow him 100k? <div class= Read Original
