Maduro says Venezuela thwarted 'false flag' plot to bomb US embassy

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Monday security forces foiled a “false flag” plot by what he called local terrorists to plant explosives at the US embassy in Caracas and further inflame tensions between the two countries over a dispute about drug trafficking.
