Little Boy Dies Days After Being Attacked by Chicken While Sleeping

A heartbreaking incident has left a family in mourning after a young boy, identified as Yosia, died days after being attacked by a chicken while he was asleep.

According to reports, the Grade Seven pupil was resting when he suddenly woke up screaming in pain as the chicken pecked his face and eyes. His mother, alarmed by his cries, rushed to his room and found the injured boy.

In an interview with Odembia Media, Yosia’s father, Bejanmini Makelo, recounted the shocking phone call he received while at work.

“It was around 11 a.m. when my son called, saying he was in pain because a chicken had pecked his face and eyes while he was asleep. He said the chicken ran away and looked very normal,” Makelo said.

He immediately arranged for his son to be taken to the hospital, where doctors found minor injuries near his eyes. After treatment, Yosia was sent home with painkillers, and the family believed he was recovering.

However, a few days later, Yosia’s condition took a turn for the worse. He began suffering from severe headaches and swelling around his eyes, followed by diarrhea.

His family rushed him back to the hospital, but tests revealed no signs of infection or illness. In desperation, they sought divine intervention at a church, but sadly, Yosia’s health continued to decline, and he eventually passed away.
