KWAM1’s Daughter, Dami Denies Dating Singer Asake

Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has dismissed rumours linking her romantically with singer Asake.

Speculation about their relationship began after Dami shared a photo with Asake at an event and captioned it “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” a post that quickly fueled dating rumours on social media.

Reacting to the claims, Dami clarified that she is not in a relationship with the singer, stating that the photo was taken during her first meeting with him.

She urged the public not to believe unverified reports from blogs, noting that such platforms often create stories for attention.

“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” Miss Marshall said on her Instagram page, ending rumours.

Asake, on his part, has not been publicly linked to any romantic partner since his reported breakup with his former Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2024.
