A young woman identified as Ainau Garba, who was kidnapped by bandits in Zamfara State has escaped from captivity.

It was gathered that bandits stormed her father’s residence in Unguwar Yarima in Gusau few days ago and kidnapped her.

According to family sources who confirmed the development at the weekend, Ainau escaped when the bandits instructed her and captives to go and wash clothes.

The victim has reunited with her family and is currently receiving medical treatment due to minor injury she sustained while fleeing from the forest.
